Overall, there is a low prevalence of double and triple burden of malnutrition among mother-child pairs in Nepal. Older mothers with short stature and those from richer wealth quintiles were more likely to suffer from double and triple burden of malnutrition. BMC Public Health

Based on preliminary U.S. data, people with select underlying health conditions (e.g. diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and chronic lung disease) and known risk factors for respiratory infections (e.g. smoking) appear to be at higher risk for severe disease (hospitalizations and admission to intensive care units) from COVID-19 than people without these conditions.

Investigation of all 243 cases of COVID-19 reported in Singapore during January 23-March 16 identified seven clusters of cases in which presymptomatic transmission is the most likely explanation for the occurrence of secondary cases.
