New courses launched
- SocialNet: Social and behavioural insights COVID-19 data collection tool for Africa: This course introduces a data collection tool that can help countries or regions capture and use social and behavioural data in their response to the pandemic.
- Infodemic Management 101: This course is for anyone interested in understanding what an infodemic is, how it dramatically affects public health and what we can do about it now and into the future.
New courses on other health topics:
- Introduction to Marburg Virus Disease: The course introduces Marburg Virus Disease and outlines the signs, symptoms, diagnosis, transmission routes and epidemiology of the disease, as well as prevention and control strategies.
- Influenza prevention and control: This course provides an overview of the tools to prevent and control influenza. The training is intended for health workers and other stakeholders involved in preventing and treating influenza.
- Reducing antimicrobial resistance of treatable sexually transmitted infections in antenatal care: The aim of this course is to improve the prevention, detection, treatment and cure of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and other reproductive tract infections (RTIs) in settings serving pregnant women and their families.
- Infection Prevention and Control in Maternal and Neonatal Care: The aim of this training package is to integrate infection prevention and control (IPC) standards and practices within the key steps of the care pathway for women and newborns, from the pre-natal to the post-natal period.
- Health emergency and disaster risk management for resilient cities: This course examines the existing risk in cities and aims to introduce participants to knowledge and tools to manage all-hazard risks for effective health emergency and disaster risk management and building resilient cities from a health perspective.
