In 2019, the percentage of adults aged ≥18 years with diagnosed chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) was higher among those living in nonmetropolitan areas (8%) than among those living in metropolitan areas (4%).

Although access to in-person, hybrid, and virtual learning modes varied throughout the school year, during January-April 2021, access to full-time, in-person learning increased 37% for non-Hispanic White students, 31% for non-Hispanic Black students, 22% for Hispanic students, and 27% for students of other race/ethnicities.
