The average number of daily contacts significantly increased from 3.2 during the lockdown to 7.1 after lockdown. Adjusting for age structure, the average number of daily contacts was 6.7.  PLOS One

After Nepal’s lockdown, the number of institutional births was reduced by approximately half, with increased inequality by ethnicity. The study also found a significantly increased risk of preterm birth, institutional stillbirth, and neonatal mortality during lockdown.
