We are pleased to inform you that the GOARN Call to Action titled “GOARN calls for a new commitment to advancing emergency preparedness and response” has been officially published today as a result of consultations during the 37th GOARN Steering Committee (SCOM) meeting which took place on April 29–30, 2025, in Kathmandu, Nepal .

As GOARN marks its 25th anniversary, this Call to Action highlights the critical role the network continues to play in supporting global emergency response and underscores the urgent need to strengthen our collective efforts in the face of growing public health challenges. It highlights our collective voice as a network—calling on the international community, including Member States and partners, to step up coordination, collaboration, and support at all levels.

This is a pivotal moment for our network. We call on each of you to amplify this message within your institutions and networks.
