Calling for submissions!
2020 has been named the International Year of the Nurse and Midwife by the World Health Organization (WHO)! In celebration of World Health Day (April 7, 2020), TEPHINET is wanting to recognize the nurses and midwives across our network and have them tell their stories by answering the questions below. We want to highlight the hard work and essential health services nurses and midwives provide.
Our goal is to educate and ignite a public appreciation for everything nurses and midwives do and contribute to the healthcare system. TEPHINET is looking for responses from nurses and midwives who are field epidemiology training program (FETP) graduates or current trainees.
- How has FETP training benefitted you in your nursing or midwife career, and how has your nursing or midwife training benefitted you in field epidemiology?
- Can you talk about an experience that was very challenging for you? How did your nursing or midwife training and FETP training help?
Please submit your responses to Thomas Aiken, TEPHINET Communications Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include a high-quality photo of yourself, preferably an “action shot” of you at your job (if possible). We may publish your responses and photos on our website and social media platforms to commemorate World Health Day on April 7.
We look forward to hearing your stories!
