Changing the Narrative on Suicide is the theme for World Suicide Prevention Day marked on September 10th with the call to action Start the Conversation. In line with this call a six-paper Series in this issue of The Lancet Public Health proposes a new narrative for suicide prevention. The Series describes a public health approach to suicide prevention that puts suicide prevention in the focus of a
